Tamica Herod

Tamica joined the South Georgian Bay music community after journeying through Muskoka, Niagara, Hamilton and Barrie as lead/backing vocalist, band leader and percussionist. She aspires to translate a rootsy, soulful sound and to keeping the Blues alive.

Tamica is the front person and band leader for 2 current projects- “Tamica & the Boyz” and the newly formed “Tamica Herod and the Harbour Street Band” who is the house band for a music series with bi-weekly guest artists such as Chuck Jackson, Jerome Godboo, Mark Stafford and Cheryl Lescom.

Credits include performing at the Wasaga Blues Festival, the the Collingwood Jazz and Blues at the Station All Star Band with Jerome Tucker; feature guest spots at the Blues at the Mews with the Groove Project; the Etwell Concert Series Women’s Blues Review with Lisa Hutchinson and Cheryl Lescom; Muskoka Sound Festival; the Griffin Sessions; the Northern Blues Review; the Canal Banks Shuffle; the Niagara Grape and Wine Festival; the Niagara Blues in the Park Sessions and various Hunters Bay Radio productions and past host of “The Blues is My Business”, a weekly blues radio show on Hunter’s Bay Radio.  Tamica also backs emerging artists live and in studio including Gina Horswood’s newest release “Porcelain” and Dani Strong’s recent release “Time to Breathe”.

Jerome Godboo

Toronto singer and harmonica player Jerome Godboo is always improving himself, as a musician, a man and a communicator. An accomplished and exceptional bluesman, his bending harp skills have been sought by everyone from Ronnie Hawkins to the late Jeff Healey and he continues to mesmerize all who witness him onstage including the judges at the International blues Challenge 2014 held in Memphis where Jerome took home the Lee Oskar best harmonica Player award.

The one-time local legend of explosive 90s rock band the Phantoms, Jerome has released 14 albums in his 25-plus year career, 11 of which are solo, including the brand new Sanctuary City with drummer Gary Craig and Spin Doctors guitarist Eric Schenkman.
